About Us

Dirk and I met March 16, 2001 at a bar (yes boys and girls - that's right - a bar!). We went on our first date the next night to Bloomington and have been with eachother ever since. Sure, we've had our bumps in the road, but overall, we have grown with eachother over the past 8 years (wow - 8 years!). We got married January 2, 2008 in Nassau, Bahamas. We went on a cruise with about 20 family and friends, and were suppose to get married on the beach, but due to 50 degree weather and nasty blowing wind (which would also blow the sand in our face and eyes), we decided to get married on the ship. It wasn't what we had planned or hoped for, but the marriage is what matters, not the wedding.
