Devin is officially 8 weeks old today and is getting so big!!! He has officially grown out of 0-3 month sleepers – mainly because of length. We take Devin to the doctor next Tuesday for his 2 month appointment, and I’m so glad Dirk can go with because Devin has to get shots!!! YIKES!
Devin has started imitating facial expressions. For example – when we stick out our tongue, he opens his mouth and moves his tongue. He smiles more and more each day and is using that voice of his as well.
Devin continues to be a great baby. I took him while getting my hair done yesterday, and he did great – other than having an explosive poopy diaper!!!
I go back to work in a little over 2 weeks, and am struggling with it. I’m trying not to think about it now as I don’t want to be upset with the two weeks I still have with him. I’m so thankful that my mom will have him while I’m at work. That is the only reason I don’t feel completely devastated. I think she did pretty good with us three girls… and the other 5 grandkids she’s helped raise…. :)
